Mortensen, Edna C.83, of Phoenix, died peacefully on August 19, 2010 surrounded by her family. She was a devoted wife and mother who gave selfless service to all. Edna will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her husband, David, an older sister, Norma Arnett, and a younger sister, Ruth Crum. She is survived by one sister, four brothers, her five sons and their wives, Bruce (Jennifer), Steve (Pam), Jake (Marla), Glenn (Jeanetta), and Karl (Myrla) who all live in the Phoenix area, 22 grandchildren and 52 great-grandchildren. She lived an exemplary life of love and service as a true follower of Jesus Christ.
