The Best Pumpkin Bread Ever & Fancy Fabric Pumpkins

PUMPKIN BREAD

5 cups flour
4 cups sugar
3 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. cinnamon
¼ tsp. cloves
4 eggs
1 ½ cups oil
¾ cup water
1 large (no. 2 ½) can pumpkin

Put all dry ingredients in a large bowl. Beat together eggs, oil, water and pumpkin. Add to flour mixture. Grease and flour 5 small loaf pans. Bake at 350* for 1 hour.
Fancy Fabric Pumpkins

Fabric: Quilt fabric, Upholstery, Velvet etc.
Stuffing or batting
Trim or braid
3-4 inch cut branch of a real tree about 1 inch around
Vine from a Silk Plant
Tacky Glue

Cut six panels with different fabric.

Cut in football shape

16 inch x 6 inch for large

12 inch x 5 inch for Med.

9 inch x 4 inch Small

Sew panels together, with ¼ in seam-making sure no two fabric patterns are right next each other. Sew to the ¼ inch to form the bottom and leave 1 inch at the top for stuffing batting into.

Turn the fabric right side out and Stuff.
Make the Pumpkin shape and don’t’ be afraid to stuff tight.
Glue braid on to each seam, let dry.
Bring the top together, stick the branch into the top; you may have to run a running stitch around to top to close it up tight. Glue the Brand and Vine in place with lots of tacky glue!
